This video showcases the social graphics I regularly produced for The Guardian. Collaborating closely with the social producer, I sourced vintage science illustrations and overlaid presentation slide and film effects to evoke the nostalgic style of classic classroom biology explainers.

A key focus was maintaining simplicity in the graphics; my experience has shown that straightforward designs resonate better with social audiences on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. In contrast, more intricate graphics are typically expected in long-form explainers, such as those on YouTube.
